How to use this tool
- Paste a descriptive title.
- Choose characters, separator and language.
- Generate the slug, then review it in the system where it will be used.
How it works
The tool normalizes text and applies language-aware lowercase. Latin mode removes combining accents and maps a small explicit set of letters such as ß to ss. Characters outside the supported alphabet become separators. Unicode mode keeps letters, marks and numbers from other scripts. Neither mode checks uniqueness.

Important considerations
Latin transliteration is not a complete transliteration engine for every language. If the output loses meaningful non-Latin words, choose Unicode. A slug alone does not improve rankings.
