Clean copied text without losing paragraphs
Repair hard wraps, non-breaking spaces and extra whitespace while preserving the structure that matters.
Start by deciding what a line break means
A line break copied from a PDF may be the end of a visual line, not the end of a paragraph. In an address or a list, the same character may be essential. Keep an untouched copy and inspect a short section before applying changes to the whole document.
The Text cleaner starts conservatively: it normalizes line endings, replaces non-breaking spaces, trims line edges and collapses ordinary repeated spaces. It does not join lines unless you choose to.
A reproducible cleanup

Choose “Join hard wraps; keep paragraphs” along with the default spacing controls. The result is:

The empty line separates the paragraphs. If the source has no empty line, the tool cannot infer that a paragraph ended there.
Special whitespace deserves care
A non-breaking space looks ordinary but tells layout software not to break there. Replacing it can help a plain-text import. Tabs may represent columns, so replace them only when you no longer need that structure. Zero-width joiners can combine emoji or shape letters in some scripts. Their removal is therefore an explicit option, not automatic cleanup.
Check the result, then continue
Read the change counts and compare a section containing an address, heading and paragraph boundary. Use Word and character counter if the destination has a length limit. Use literal Find and replace for a known repeated string, rather than treating every unfamiliar character as an error.
If the result loses structure, return to the unchanged input and disable the responsible option. Cleanup is not grammar correction, OCR repair or a guarantee that pasted PDF text preserves reading order.
