How to use this tool
- Choose an image; its displayed orientation is used.
- Enter dimensions or a percentage. Keep the aspect lock enabled to avoid distortion.
- Resize and compare the actual output dimensions and file size.
How it works
Fit mode scales by the smaller width/height ratio so both bounds are respected. Stretch mode changes the proportions only when the aspect lock is off. Percentage mode scales both dimensions together. Pixel resampling changes image information; enlarging cannot restore original detail.
A practical example
Start with
Source 400 × 300; fit inside 200 × 200
What to expect
Output 200 × 150. A 200 × 200 stretch requires disabling the aspect lock.
Important considerations
Changing pixels is not the same as reaching a byte limit. Use compression after choosing the needed format. Upscaling requires explicit permission.
Static JPEG, PNG or WebP · 10 MiB · 16 megapixels. Input remains in page memory until you reset or leave. Copy and download actions are initiated by you. No tool input is sent to a processing service.
